Hello,

We're using Jira 6 and Jira Agile. We are tring to make the use of Gantt chart plugin, to accomplish something like in the demo:

The difference is we want the first level is Version, i.e.

Version 1

- Sprint 1

- Sprint 2

Because the gantt chart is for future planning, we don't want to specify all future tasks with a exact start and end time. We only want to specify the start/end time to the versions and sprints.

How can we do that? In Jira Agile, the start/end time of a sprint is only given when the sprint is started.

And about the start/end time of the versions, we tried to go to "Agile->Classic", add the parent relationship of the version and the start/end time of the versions.

What else do we need to do to get something like in the demo?

Many thanks!

Currently, that is not possible out-of-the box. Within prior Greenhopper releases (classic), Atlassian has used a special customfield for storing an issue's sprint, but this is no longer the case as a sprint belongs to an agile board. So, an issue may be related to different sprints on different agile boards (1:n relationship).
