Hi there!
Our company has always used one project and one board within that project. I'm hoping to more easily manage my design team, and the hand off of those completed designs to the development team. What is the best way to do this?
It would be nice to move a ticket from "done" in the design board to "to do" in the development board. Or is it easier to create a ticket in design, and then create a new ticket for development?
Also, it would be great to have one master view of everything so I can see what everyone is working on.
What recommendations do you have? Their seem to be unlimited options, and I can't find a ton of direction in the support docs.
Thanks!
In our scrum teams; since we are measuring the cycle time of the task, we handle both design and development tasks in the same project.
We have a workflow similar as below;
Backlog >> Analysis >> Analysis Done >> Design >> Design Done >> Development >> Development Done >> Ready to Prod >> Done.
And, we created different boards for different positions with JQL filters.
For ex:
Analysts have a board and they only see the Backlog >> Analysis >> Analysis Done statuses.
Designers have a board and they only see the Analysis Done >> Design >> Design Done statuses.
Developers have a board and they only see theDesign Done >> Development >> Development Done statuses.
