Hello,
I am facing an incredible issue with workflows.
Within my Jira I am having this issue where any project that is created, will have is own workflow based on Software Simplified Workflow.
How can I manage this ? I have created a general kanban workflow that I want my team to follow all along and always create only with this workflow. But I cannot find the solution to ease this process.
When creating a project, we choose the kanban board and then we can select a workflow in the settings. But it does not create the board columns according to the workflow I have configured.
Is anyone having a solution for this ?
Best,
Jean
Welcome to the community!
First of all, whenever you will create a project in Jira, by default it will configure a set of default things like Issue type scheme, workflow scheme, permission scheme..etc
As you mentioned, you want to associate the custom created a workflow (Kanban Workflow) then you go to project setting and then choose workflow and edit the default workflow scheme or create a new workflow scheme and add this newly created (Kanban) workflow.

But it does not create the board columns according to the workflow I have configured.
For this, you need to work on Board setting and you need to map the board column with the Kanban workflow.
