How to map between imported users and current jira users

I'm trying to import tickets from a CSV into jira.

My assignee & reporter names are exactly as the users in jira.

How ever, when doing the import, jira creates a new entry for every name in the CSV .

How can I do this mapping correctly?

Hi,

 

If they are the same, Jira should not recreate them. Are there any errors/messages in your import-Log?

You can map them manually if you tick the checkbox for manual mapping.
