I'm trailing Jira Work Management for potential use for a corporate film production company.
What I don't understand is how does one track timelines of multiple projects in one place ?
For instance, we got a team of 20 producers and production staff working in various capacities across 40 different film projects.
I can set up each project and create a timeline for each project, but what we need is to be able to have one roadmap/schedule that tracks all active projects so we can evaluate how busy the company is at any given period of time as well as how busy any given individual working across multiple projects is.
Jira marketing refers to a feature called 'portfolios' which seems like the right thing to use but it's simply not there ! I've looked all over the place!
Hi @editor1 Shell if you’re open to trying plugins, I’d like to tell you a bit about Planyway on behalf of the Planyway team. There, you can connect multiple projects and group issues by project on the timeline:

Hello @editor1 Shell
I think you may be referring to Advanced Roadmaps. Keep in mind that advanced Roadmaps is only available as part of Jira Software Cloud Premium and Enterprise. Let me know if this guides you in the right direction.
