How to order issue fields?

LK July 23, 2019

Hi to you all,

I want to reorder the issue fields in my program. Unfortunately, when I added a new field to my issues, the were just added to the bottom. But instead I would like to reorganize them in such a way that that is more logical when used by our client.

Capture3.JPGFor example, I would like to move "Anhang" to the bottom and move up "Beschreibung". Would that be possible? It would be really great if you could support me in this.

Best,

Lukas

@LK To reorder fields on a screen, you must access the Configure Screen dialogue, which allows for a drag-and-drop interface. The can be accessed in two ways:

  1. The screen can be accessed through the specific project's Administration screens. [Project Settings > Screens] (Project Administrators or System Administrators)
  2. It can also be accessed in Jira Settings > Screen, finding the specific screen and selecting configure

Not sure which version you are using, but here's a link to Atlassian's documentation for cloud:

Hello,

Go to project settings -> screens. Find the create screen for the Epic issue type and drag fields higher or lower (the way you want the fields to be seen).
