How to put End date automaicaly when task's status was changed?

Please help to create a rule.
"put End date automatically when the task's status was changed"

Hi @Yana Teplova,

You should provide more details for a more specific answer, but maybe this may already get you in the right direction:

  • trigger: issue transitioned (you can specify the from and to statuses of the transition)
  • action: edit issue  / select the end date field and set {{now}} as the value

This is typically something I would expect to happen when an issue is resolved. If so, be aware that Jira is already recording that timestamp automatically in the resolved date field.

Hi @Yana Teplova ,

 

Try creating this rule , Here i have set the date as the time the status was changed for the current issue, However you can edit the date as per your requirement.

Here i have given the Action as Edit field and the value as {{now}}

you can configure it as per your requirement also i have attached the link for referenece
