How to remove delete ticket button in JIRA (For Admin as well)

Hi,

I need to remove the delete feature for a project in JIRA for all users,can it be done?

If yes then how?

Answer accepted

Remove "delete" permission in the permission schemes.

Admins will be able to put it back, but you just need to tell them not to.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

altered to remove delete permission, or so I thought, logged out, logged back in, delete button still there
