How to remove priority system field for specific issue type for a project

Hi,

  We are using jira software 8.20.8 version. We have around 120 projects in our jira.

So for one project and specific issue type i do not need the priority (system field). I removed from all the screens, but it does not work. After removing from the screen i am not able to see the field while creating the issue. But unfortunately it's coming priority as medium after creation of the issue and it's not editable.

As I was searching i found few solutions, but does not suite our jira.

1. I can't hide the priority field because it's used by multiple projects.

2. We can't use script runner plugin as it costs.

Hide it using the field configurations: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/change-a-field-configuration/

    We are having multiple projects in jira, all the projects use the priority filed. So I can't hide it for one project.
