How to restrict field edits to a user

Hi,

A user requested that a custom field ("Revenue") be restricted to only allow her to make changes to it in 4 different live projects. Viewing the field by others is fine.

A link to a documentation page and/or elaborating on the steps would be greatly appreciated!

Jira does not have field level security, so your options are limited. What you could do is create a global transition that is limited to that user so he/she can edit the field.
