I have been creating Balsamiq designs in some tickets, but have hundreds of tickets I've created across multiple projects. I want to be able to search just for the tickets that have the Balsamiq designs. I am able to create a query to search for attachments, but I also attach other types of files to tickets and don't want to look through them all.

What is the syntax to search for only Balsamiq attachments (.bmpr) files?

Hi @Serena Laurence Chung,

While searching for a specific attachment type in Confluence seems straightforward (see: How to search specific attachment type in Confluence) it appears that it's not as straightforward in Jira.

I know there are available plug-ins which can make this easier for you (e.g. Search Attachments or Find Attachments for Jira Cloud) but I'd need to defer to Atlassian on doing it without the use of a plug-in.

If you need more help on Balsamiq-specific aspects of our integrations for Jira and/or Confluence, just drop us a line at support@balsamiq.com.
