We are looking into a 3rd party time tracking tool for JIRA, before enabling the tool we want to see if anyone is using the native time tracking functionality.
Currently our company has very varied workstreams therefore we cannot rule out that it's not used and asking each individual project owner will take too long.
Is there any way to see the projects that have time tracking entries or a report that shows time tracking in use?
As pointed in the previous answer, if you don't use any third-party plugin yet, you might search for any issues containing a worklog reported.
For the issues found, you might check worklog tabs and list particular users who did report time.
However, I would consider a time tracking app that either allows using standard Jira time tracking or provides functionality that mimics time tracking available in Jira.
Clockwork Free and its paid sibling Clockwork Pro can do both of these things.
After installing them, you can still access Jira time tracking capabilities (log work, etc.).
You can also switch time tracking provider from Jira native to Clockwork and:

Hi,
You can use a JQL: worklogDate is not EMPTY
It will provide a list of all the issues on which time has been logged so far (via native or non native time tracking). Assuming that no third party app is in use at this time, the logged time would be from native Jira time tracking.
For 3rd party Time tracking apps, please do take a look at our app: AIO Reports and Timesheets for Jira
