How to send emails to only those users whose issues have not been updated from last 60 days

Simarpreet Singh September 28, 2021

Hi team,

I want to understand how to send emails to only those users whose issues have not been updated from last 60 days. In the email, I also want to list down all the issues on the email they are supposed to work upon.

Thanks

Brant is 100% right. If you don't want to ask the users to subscribe, you can use an app like ours, Notification Assistant for Jira to push an email to all of them.

@Simarpreet Singh Welcome to the Atlassian Community

You could use an automation to send a single email for each issue.  Or you could create a filter and have them subscribe to it.  You can have them subscribe to a daily email with their issues that are older than 60 days. https://www.atlassian.com/blog/jira-software/jql-the-most-flexible-way-to-search-jira-3-of-4

Hi @Brant Schroeder - Thanks for your solution. Although Subscription was my first proposed solution to the team, but as per them it will be hard to make 100+ people subscribe to the filter (as many will not pay attention subscribing). So we want to automatically send emails from backend to these (selected) users with their issues on email so that they are on same page as everyone and can take necessary action.

Thanks,

Simar
