How to set attachment sorting defaults (Jira 5.0)

Since 4.2 Jira offers a way to sort attachments by date.

I want to set this option as a default.

Any ideas how it can be done?

Thanks, but this is not working for post 4.2 installations.

I'm using 5.0 and hope to upgrade to 5.2 soon.

Oh, yeah, that post is probably not the right one. It is not possible using plain JIRA. This post talks about modifying the source code (which I doubt whether it is worth doing it). https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/11244/how-can-i-change-default-order-for-attachments

Actually this default sorting of attachments was pushed off to a separate feature request, which was sadly closed as wont fix. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-28290
