How to set the default sort mode for attachment?

I can set the sort mode for the issue manully (desc or asc), but is there any configuration for me to set the default sort mode for attachment?

Not out of the box. This features request is in jira.atlassian.com and there a few suggested 'workarounds' there though they might be outdated now
