I've tried to set visible «Linked issue» field when it's empty, but all my attempts were unsuccessful
Dear forum members, I ask you if it is even possible to do this?
And one more question: does it make sense to update to the latest version of Jira Data Center to get this feature?
That field gets set when you link an issue. Have you tried linking an issue yet?

Yes it works, but I want it to always show when viewing a ticket even when no related tasks have been added?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
In the screen configurations for that issue type, turn on the "Show when empty" option.
