How to share one task with multiple Project

Navin Kumar July 18, 2023

Actually, I have created a few tickets (Story, Task & bugs) in Project A and now want to share those tickets in Project B as it is like all the attached files, comments, status of the ticket, and assignee all these details.

Is there a way to keep one ticket in two different projects and if I change the status, attach a file, or comment on that ticket in one project, it should change in other projects as well?

Hi,

A ticket can't live in two separate project. So you will need to create a ticket in each project that you will link with the first ticket.

Then you will need to create an automation to update theses issue when the issue in project A is updated.

Hi @Navin Kumar

you might look into cross project boards. Meaning you configure a board filter that is not limited to one project.

With that you can have one ticket, in one project, but have it displayed in boards in different projects. Usually that is a simpler solution than having to work with multiple issues and keeping them synced.
