How to show a screen with custom field when add a flag in a issue?

Hello!!

Guys I’d like to registrate an impediment reason as a custom filed when anyone add a flag in a issue! I’ve tried to do that creating an automation but I can’t show a screen with the options of this custom field in the moment that I added a flag!

Anyone knows how?

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to modify the screen that's displayed when flagging an issue.

Typically we recommend using the provided comment box on the screen to explain why the issue is being flagged.

Ok @Bryce Lord but it's possible to show a new screen just to set the impediment's reason and comment?

In theory, you could by using other means, but not using the flag feature (right-click on the card and select "add flag") and I wouldn't recommend it.

Adding the reason for the impediment should be more of a training and learning piece with the team(s) that when you flag an item, you need to provide context, which is typically done through adding a comment.
