How to show custom JIRA logo as full width banner

Alok Agnihotri March 27, 2014

Hi,

We have a application working on top of jira v4.1.2. It uses a image as application banner.

It means that the image is set to top of every page as a banner. Now we are upgrading the system to jira 6.1.2. When i try to set the same image as application "logo" under "Look and Feel".

It is set to top upper left corner and not stretch to full page width.

Is there any way to set the image as application banner(i.e. stretch to full width.)

Thanks!

You would need to edit the velocitiy templates as all the new atlassian products are working towards a behind the scenes project for much tighter integration, especially of look and feel.

The Blue banner is consistent across all their tools (jira, confluence, bitbucket, bamboo, fisheye, etc).

Hi Eddie,

Thank you for the response.

In Jira 6.1.6 do we have any option to set the banner ?

Or we need to set a logo and adjust its width to the full width of the screen to use it as a banner.
