How to stop Joggler from spamming my Activity Stream

I'm evaluating the Joggler add-on, and this is quite annoying... when I start tracking Toggl time using Joggler from within JIRA, joggler "edits" the task every 5 minutes and updates the Work Log to show the new amount of time worked. This edit activity is consuming my dashboard's "Activity Stream". With a team of devs working with this plugin, that seems pretty bad... anyone else dealt with this? Is there a way to stop this from happening? I can't seem to filter just this type of event from the Activity Stream either.

We're using standalone version too.  Maybe it could be the JIRA version and the setting is in some other location. 

We're currently using JIRA 6.0.1 and the page the setting is on is [yoursitelocation]/secure/admin/ViewServices!default.jspa

Thanks for your response! Unfortunately, we do not have any settings in Advanced > Services for Joggler. We're using on-premise JIRA, perhaps these settings are only available for Cloud customers?

Hi Ryan,

Don't know whether this will help as I haven't tried it but :

In JIRA > Admin > System > Advanced > Services menu there are 2 settings :

Toggl long synchronizer : which is set to to 1440 minutes

Toggl short synchronizer : which is set to 5 minutes

Have you tried changing the short one to something longer, say 60 minutes ?
