How to sync two JIRA instances without add-ons?

Hi Guys,

I know this can be achieved with add-ons. I would like to know if upgrading from premium to enterprise plan can achieve this without any add-ons?

unfortunately not. The different Cloud plans don't influence this at all.

Without addons, I see these options:

create an Application Link between the instances and link issues to each other -> This is however no synchronization.
create some Automation rules which communicate via webhooks and web actions to update fields. Depending on the complexity of the data you'd like to sync, this might be a way.
Write some scripts outside of Jira which use the REST API to synchronize your issues.

That's what I can think of.

Using an app will likely be lest cost and effort in the long run.
