I would like to be able to test new plugins or features in JIRA Cloud.  Previously we would have a local test server, import data into it and try out the new features.  This would be done apart from our production instance so users would not see it.  We want the Scrum Masters to demonstrate and become familiar with plugins or new features before they are released to users, as they impact their workflow.

Is there a way to accomplish more or less the same thing with JIRA Cloud?

Hi Mike,

You can start a trial Cloud instance to test the features.

You will have 7 days trial and it can be extended if you need. For that just get in touch with support.Atlassian.com.

You've got two options really:

1) Use permissions to hide stuff from users until it's ready

2) Get a second Cloud instance to test with
