How to undo a CLONE command?

This is similar to the "delete a Jira Story" -- only there's a nuance.

I split a too-large story in two, along with its associated tasks. To do so, I used the clone command. Unfortunately, this also cloned all the tasks, rather than simply copy the reference of the clones, as I expected.

Now I have a mess of duplicate stories and tasks that I would very much like to clean up. Yes, it's deleting a story, but certainly I should be allowed to do my bit of cleanup after this messy mess?

Any ideas how?

Hi,

If you want to delete an issue (Epic, story, task, sub-task) you simply need the permission to delete issue.

If you haven't this permission, check the permission scheme to know witch users or roles have it.  Delete permission is generally granted only to JIRA administrator and project administrator.

Warning: take care of any links toward your issue to delete.
