We use JIRA to manage and track our daily tasks for a while. Now I want to use JIRA more to improve the working process.

What we are doing:

We are a company to provide technical solution to our customers.

Our solution includes more than one software products;

We are developing standard products;

We do customization for different customers based on our standard products;

We schedule product release and project release based on the requirement from all our customers;

Our working process:

We collect all requirements together;

We schedule product release plan and project release plan based on the requirements;

The release include the requirements we want to include and also for sure the timeline;

What I want to achieve:

I want to manage all the release in JIRA;

In one page, I want to see all the release I need to do on one page, i would expect to see the following information on the feature timeline.

 1) All releases

2) Release progress bar: How many items are planned, how many already start, in progress and finish

3) The sprints planned for each release

4) The items belong to the each sprint

5) start date, due date, end date of one release

6) the depedency between different releases and also different items

7) budget status

 And other data.

Can you please help to check whether I can achieve what I want and how to achieve it?

Hi @wenziyan

Welcome to our Community.

Based on your description, you may need Jira Cloud Premium plan with Plan or Advanced Roadmap features:

  • cross jira projects work items management with mutple issue hierarchies
  • cross project releases management if required
  • capacity planning for release/sprints
  • ...

It's a big solution, which should be considered based on your actual requirements. You may need to these related articles:

Hope it helps & thanks,
