How to work out existing installation directory for Jira upgrade?

My Jira working directory and Jira home directory are in different locations

The upgrade wizard asks for 'existing installation directory', how do I confirm which one is correct for the system upgrade?

Hi @yannickwilson ,

the installation directory is where you have the Jira binary application. It is different from your Jira Home directory. It will likely be something like atlassian-jira-8.5.x-standalone for example.

Thanks for your input

I am running Windows so the path might be slightly different

But I figured that the directory where the start and stop scripts were would be a indicator

C:\Program Files\Atlassian\JIRA in my instance
