How we can migrate Table gird next generation from JIRA server to JIRA cloud ?

Hi I am trying to migrate a project from JIRA server to JIRA cloud and we are using table grid next generation in our project in JIRA server and trying to migrate the same as we tried to migrate the project we found out that table grid next genration has not been migrated to cloud.

Can you please suggest how we can migrate the table grid next generation or we have to create it from scratch in JIRA cloud.

Also all the feature which are available in the JIRA server are available in JIRA cloud table grid next generation.

Please suggest.

Hello @Akshay Jain 

Right now there is no official migration solution for TGNG. It is, however, being developed by the TGNG dev team and will be released in the near future. 

If you need to migrate right now and your timeline does not accommodate delays, it is possible to do so via a script using REST APIs for both TGNG Server and Cloud. In this case, you would need to create a configuration on your Cloud instance by hand prior to the transfer.

Depending on the current Server licensing status and the number of users you have, there are 2 migration solutions you can find useful:

• The Cloud Migration Trial which lets you test, migrate, and run in the Cloud without licensing twice for Server and Cloud while you migrate.
• If you have more than 1,000 users, there is a Cloud Loyalty discount.
