I Can't add labels! I have full system access and and no permission restrictions - HELP!

Last night I left and the board was fine - I was able to add labels without a problem. 

This morning, i cannot add labels - the field is just greyed out. There is no permissions error or anything - just a disabled field 

this is the same for all issue types and is a huge problem. 

Please help!

I have the exact same problem since today, really impacting!

We are also having this issue but we have found a workaround, although slightly annoying...

Under "Active Sprints", you can view issues on whichever board you chose for your project.

If you click the tile for any issue, JIRA will bring up a more minimalist view of your ticket.

We've had success changing labels via this view, but only for projects which have existed for some time. That's to say, we've tested creating new projects, and we cannot modify labels via this if the project was created today.
