He wants me to create a workflow where " Once Approved Transition executed, then we should able to move the issues from the backlog to next active sprint, if not it should not move".
So if a issue/ticket is not approved (either by changing status or value in the field) you cannot do anything with the issues (in that case "move" from "backlog" to active sprint). So probably a condition is required here and later maybe a post function. It depends also if you are using some external plugins or only using OOTB features. You might also set this up by showing/hiding tickets on a board (backlog) when a condition is met (approve). It is only then a matter of filter on a board.
