Hello @Verbeek, D. (Danny)
Welcome to the Atlassian Community !

Are you talking about a TEAMS feature of JIRA or GROUP as team?

If Teams -> then you can eventually remove yourself from the group via Team -> Hover you name -> Three dots -> Leave Team

If Talking about Groups:
a) If that's a LOCAL group: You have to ask your User admin (site /org admin) to remove you from the group,
b) this group is sync'd from SSO: You have to ask your SSO admin/AD team to remove you from the group.

I think i mean the organisation. I have been added by someone i don´t know.
Also there is only 1 admin and the email doe's not exist anymore.

The person was a student on the same university i work at, but i am not able to contact him and now i am stuck in this organisation.

Got it, since you are on free plan, you cannot raise a support request. I've raised a request  towards Atlassian. Help is on the way! An Atlassian Support Engineer will review the post and respond on this thread within 2 business days.

Else, you can raise a request at https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact/purchasing-licensing#/

Hi @Verbeek, D. (Danny)

I understand that you have been invited to an Atlassian Cloud site, but that the admin is no longer there.   In cases like this, once you have accepted the invitation to a site, that admin of that site controls which users are members of that site.   There is not a means to opt-out of that site yourself once accepted.  There is an existing feature request for this in JRACLOUD-75105

That said, this appears to be a free plan site.  Free plan sites require the admin to login and use the product at least once every 120 consecutive days.  If they do not do this, then the site would then be deleted due to inactivity after 120 days of not being used.

Alternatively, if the admin is no longer with your organization, it might be possible to create a support case with our customer advocate team in order to attempt to change the site-admin/billing admin of that account.  Perhaps yourself or another user with the same email domain could request to take control of the account.  Once that happens then that account can choose to remove users or even possibly delete the site entirely.

I hope this helps.

Andy

Hi @Verbeek, D. (Danny)

Welcome to community!

Is it a managed team (synced to a group)? If so, you have to work on removing yourself from the synced group.

In a non managed Team , any existing member of the team can manage the users list. It doesnt necessarily have to be the org admin or the person who created the team.
