I've raised a bug. I'm trying to copy and paste a snippet of code or a screenshot to the bug. I can't paste this to the bug description. But I can paste this in the comments section.
Seems to be an issue on any browser I try.
Is this a know issue that is being worked on?
thanks in advance for any help.
Hi @Ronan Hayes
Are you creating the issue from a saved url like https://<basr_url>.atlassian.net/secure/CreateIssue!default.jspa or via the create issue button?
Because as per https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-69050 the copy from clipboard doesnt work on the direct create url.

Hi @Ronan Hayes
I am not able to reproduce the problem.
Is it the system field description that you are trying to paste this? Does it throw any error?
Also i recommend you to try in a different project to see whether it is reproducible.

It's the 'Defect Description' that I'm trying to paste to. Interestingly I can paste when I try another project.
The 2nd project is configured slightly differently. The description section is just titled 'Description'.
There is no error thrown in the project where the issue is.
Would this maybe suggest a config issue?
thanks again.

ah.. Does the custom field have 'wiki renderer' enabled in the field configuration scheme?

That was it. It was 'Default Text Renderer'. I've updated it to 'Wiki Style Renderer'.
It's working now. thanks again for all your help!
