Hi there, we are switching form Scrum to Kanban in our team but we stick to Jira. So there aren't a lot of changes to be made. I configured our Board to match our needs, but i can't update or write anything on the fields i added. So i can't update information like "Due Date" or "Latest installation date" and so on. Can anyone help me?
Hi @labinot sulejmani
Can you please check you have required permissions to edit issues and is this issue specific to only particular board or any other is also having same problem ?
Also can you share they way you are trying to add values in fields. So that I can respond accordingly.
i have the permission to edit issues since i can do on our scrum board whatever i want. The Kanban Board is on the same instance/Server. Somehow, all the information that an issue has from the Scrum Board like; Status, Author, Assignee, Epic Link, Priority i can still edit even on the Kanban board because i inherited all the issues from our old Board. But everything else that i add to the Kanban Board under "Board>Configure" as mentioned above, it shows up but i can't edit for e.g. to change the due date or latest installation date and so on.

create a new board(Kanban) from the same filter you used for scrum board creation.
then see you can update the fields. if you still not able to update just see in workflow if you have any condition on it.

I actually did. For the workflow, you have to be administrator as far as i am concerned.

yes. if its a team managed project connect with admin and see if there is any condition there. if its company managed project connect with Jira admin.
You can try this , press . in middle of screen and search for permission helper and see if you have a permission to edit issues or not. if not ask project admin to update your permission.
