I cannot open documents I uploaded ("attach" button)

i cant open word documents that i upload for my projects. it automaticaly saves as a google doc file and somehow it gives me black screen.

I've seen this issue in the past when doing Data Center upgrades for clients.  There could possibly be a back-end issue with attachment storage or permissions.  I'd recommend looking at this doc to troubleshoot: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/locate-jira-server-file-attachments-in-the-filesystem-859487788.html
