I'd like to migrate Story Issues in an existing project on Jira Cloud to a new workflow

I have ~150 Story Issues that are using a simplified workflow of To Do, In Progress, and Done. 

I have created a new custom workflow of In Review, Defined, In Progress, Complete and Accepted.  

I want to make sure that I don't screw up the existing Stories.

You shouldn't be worried. JIRA wizard will help you. During this process you must map old status to new status and after that JIRA will do this.

When you apply the new scheme to the project, Jira will ask you how you want to migrate each of the old status to new, so your existing issues will take on the new status in the right place.

The migration worked well, but I noticed I had to go back in and edit my boards.
