I deleted the default board but I want my backlog back

I created a new classic project, which my BA has set up with boards and workflows. The project was set up as a scrum project, so it had a scrum board and backlog as default.  We had discussed using the parallel sprint feature so that Design/UR tickets could be done in a separate sprint from Dev work, so a second board was set up and the parallel sprint function enabled. I'm not sure what the BA did with the original, default board in terms of configuration, but as it didn’t show what we wanted we decided not to use that and created a new sprint board to use instead.  Neither of us knew how to delete the board, so it's been sitting there for a while.

Yesterday, we decided instead that the design/UR stuff will be on a kanban board instead, so I found where the Delete Board button was moved to, and deleted the design/UR sprint board and created a new kanban board for it. All good so far.

Then, having worked out how to delete a board, I figured finally we can get rid of that default board we didn't need, so I deleted that too. That is when I discovered that there were two backlogs, and they each correspond to a sprint board… so now we can no longer see the default backlog with everything on it. We just have the backlog with the dev tickets. For planning purposes, we really need a backlog view with EVERYTHING on it.  Can I get back the original default backlog or is it possible to configure a new backlog to show everything???

Update: I solved my own question!! I just created a new sprint board and added all statuses to it. I don't really need or want that board, but it has resulted in a backlog view with everything on it, which is ultimately what I need.
