Hi @Brad Beattie,

as far as I know, there is no possibility to manage own smtp settings in Jira Cloud.
You have an outgoing adress based on your domain e.g. jira@samplecompany.atlassian.net

Nic is correct.

Setting up an SMTP server is a restricted function of Jira Cloud. You must use the internal SMTP server on your Cloud account.

Thanks for this answer ... this could be a showstopper. 

Is there any good reason behind this except the free marketing we do for you ;)
