I have a custom field that I want to make required only for specic issue types

I created a custom field I need it to be required on all but one of my issue types. I haven't found any article that explains how to do that.

Hi @[deleted] 

You have to create new Field configuration and configure this field as required over there. Next you associate this field configureation with selected Issue field in Field configuration scheme and then associate this  Field configuration scheme with one or more projects.
