I had a project set up COMPANY-A that is shared by my Digital Analytics Team & My Implementation team

However after 6 months it is clear we need two (2) separate PROJECTS one (1) for each team

How do I separate the teams into their own projects and/or download the tickets to CSV to ingest into a new project without losing live tickets in backlog (Over 1,000)

I am a team admin

Hi @sharon flynn ,

If you want the original issues remain in project COMPANY-A you could bulk clone them with our Marketplace app Deep Clone for Jira.

It's also possible to move them to another project while cloning.

Don't hesitate to contact our support team if you have questions or feedback.

Hi @sharon flynn -- Welcome to the Atlassian community!

In case you haven't solved this yet, have you tried a bulk edit, and a move operation?  You could create the new project and then move the issues you want at one time.

Please see here for information about bulk edit:

Best regards,

Bill
