Kindly suggest solution
Hi,
I have the same problem - I signed up with j_joyce-a@osttra-imagine.net email before the email flow was working! Now I think I've blocked it, and I am not getting any emails...
Worst part is I have added lots of content to Confluence (https://osttra-imagine.atlassian.net) and now cannot get in!
Can someone help?
Thanks!!!
Hello Mamatha,
Thank you for reporting this to us! I've removed your colleague's email from your posts for her privacy, but I was able to track down the reason why she's not receiving it.
When our email server attempted to send the message, your mail server replies with the following message:
550: 550 Invalid Recipient - https://community.mimecast.com/docs/DOC-1369#550 [21sFSRwyOIKncS6nZyGypA.au87]
That might happen if you add the user's account to Jira and the email doesn't exist on the email server yet or hasn't had time to propagate. That will temporarily add a block against that account, but once you re-send the invite, it removes the block and sends a new invitation. If the email still does not go through, then there's an issue on your email server that is causing it not to recognize mail going to that email address.
I've removed the blocks across your email domain, so if your users still encounter any problems receiving emails from Atlassian, I recommend syncing up with your email server administrator and see why your server doesn't recognize the email accounts.
I hope that helps!
Take care,
Shannon

I am experiencing the same problem with a colleague of mine. The problem is likely caused by sending the invite before the email address existed.
However, resending the invite does not fix the problem.
How can I fix this?
