I need an A record

I would love to setup my JIRA Ondemand to point to the URL jira.myorganisation.com. Our web admin has setup to redirect to our ondemand URL but I would rather it alias myorganisation.atlassian.net. Apparently an "A record" is required.

Is this possible? How do I provide my web admin with an A record?

Unfortunately, with OnDemand, this is not possible due to the architecture of the platform...

I have a related question. We have an OnDemand JIRA instance managed by Atlassian. It is going to be migrated to our on-site hosted JIRA instance next week. Is there any way that we can automatically redirect the URL of the OnDemand JIRA instance (something like https://.atlassian.net) to our URL (something like www.jira.ourcompany.com)?</span<>>
