While setting up JIRA locally, I accidentally reconfigured the URL and left out the "8080" port on the UI so the URL looked like http://<hostname>/
I tried to go to that URL, but it doesn't work at all. When I go back and try hostname:8080, I get an error from Tomcat that the resource is not available.
Since I cannot get back to the URL, I cannot set it back to the proper string. Is there a way to fix this outside of the URL?
Thanks for any suggestions.
I just re-installed the JIRA installation script, and it came right back - phew! Not sure that this was th best fix, but it did fix my problem.
Could you please tell me which script you reinstalled? Did you reinstall the entire program?
Thanks,
Saneth
