I use jira (v5.1.4#783-sha1:a7d8d2c) and want to upgrade to 72008 ,

when i import from /home2/jira/atlassian/application-data/jira/import/exported_today.zip there are error message like your version is mismatch

how can I move from jira-5.1.4 to jira-7.2

You can only import between matching versions. You should follow the upgrade process from your current version. 

Note that as your version is quite old you will need to do a couple of steps on the upgrade path. Make sure you read and understand all the changes along the upgrade path.

5.1 to 6.4 to 7.2 should work, if you don't have any odd add-ons.
