I want to import one project from one Jira instance to another in instance in linux without using Project configurator Plugin.

Please provide a better solution for importing the project from another instance.

Thanks,

Kedar P

Project Configurator is the best option.  Although I would say that, as I work for Adaptavist.  Trying to be agnostic, the other best tool is Configuration manager by Botron.

If you're not wanting to use an App to do it though, you're either into creating your own scripts, or manually re-creating the project in the target Jira and then using "export backup, project import" via xml.

Hi @kedar

Have you tried the solutions that Nick suggested to you?

If you decide to try the Configuration Manager for Jira - you can refer to our documentation space and see more detailed information about your use case.

Without using an App, you'll need to perform a set of manual actions which won't make your life easier :)
