You can configure something exactly like this:
Trigger: Issue transitioned
In this place the Done status of the subtask;
Condition: issuetype > Equals > Sub-task;
Add a branch and map it to "PARENT";
Inside the branch put an "Action" of "Transition issue";
In that point to the status that resolves to parent.
