I want to segregate hours consumed in different phases and by different team members

Amruta Pardeshi May 1, 2020

Requirement: I want to understand in which different areas/phases of the project, efforts are consumed.

For example: in out of 150 hours of total efforts burnt in the project till date,

  • 25 hours were for requirement gathering done by BA & PM of the project
  • 100 hours of development was done by JS developer, HTML developer and c# developer.
  • 25 hours were utilized by QA team member for testing.

Thanks in advance,

Amruta.

Hi @Amruta Pardeshi

Have you tried to create a dashboard to find this information?  You can probably use the two-dimensional filter gadget to find many of these things, although there are several analysis options.

Please see this information on dashboards to get started: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-core-cloud/docs/what-is-a-jira-dashboard/

Best regards,

Bill

Appreciate your reply, Bill.

the link shared helped me to further think and plot to what I am looking for.

Although, here is a exact problem I am looking into. For example, my Jira projects has 20 tasks created. Now i want to understand how many tasks belong to HTML developer? how many tasks belong to Javascript developer? how many to PM? Likewise for all other skills involved in my project.
