I want to transfer all the tickets from standalone jira on local computer to new Jira installed on Production server.

We installed stanalone jira on local computer with 10 licenses for our departmaent but now our company has installed jira for all the user(more than 1000) ,we now have switched over to LDAP login.Is there a way I can move all the tickets in standalone Jira to the new Jira setup.

Hello monisha

If i understand correctly its simple:

Depending on the db size either take a xml (for less than 2 gb) or db snapshot for higher and restore it on new instance.http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Restoring+Data

Configure LDAP http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Connecting+to+an+LDAP+Directory
