Hello,
I used to have both JIRA and the IDE Connector for Eclipse working beautifully. Recently I updated JIRA to version 4.4 and got the new version of eclipse as well. I also updated the connector.
Suddently, the JIRA issues no longer appear in my task list. The connector still authenticates correctly, and when I try to creata a new query it manages to pick all the project names correctly, as well as the issue types. However, it does not display any tasks in my task list, even those that are not related to any specific user.
Is there a way to reset the cache for the connector, or some other solution to this problem?
Thanks in advance.
The updated active objects plugin can be downloaded here:
https://maven.atlassian.com/content/repositories/atlassian-public/com/atlassian/activeobjects/activeobjects-plugin/0.15.3/activeobjects-plugin-0.15.3.jar
In JIRA, go to Administration > Plugins > Install (tab), then on the right side you find an "upload plugin" link. You can paste the url there and install the plugin that way, or first download and chose the file on your local disk. Once installed, I would suggest you restart JIRA before testing whether everything works.
Best,
Jacek
Please go with the AO update.
Cheers,
Jacek

Sorry, still not 100% clear on this. Is an upcoming 5.7.1 Greenhopper release the solution, or the 0.15.3 patch to Active Objects the way forward? I'd be happier with the former as AO is a system plugin.
Thanks
Joe

It looks like the problem has been fixed in GreenHopper 5.7.1. Please upgrade.

Hi Jacek
Thanks for the swift reply. Looking at the upgrade notes for Greenhopper (http://confluence.atlassian.com/display/GH/GreenHopper+Installation+and+Upgrade+Guide) it says that the upgrade should appear in the plugin upgrade page (http://[jiraserver]/plugins/servlet/upm#manage. There are no available upgrades there for anything. Also looking at the Greenhopper download page, 5.7 is the latest version. I'm assuming 5.7.1 will be released soon maybe?
Thanks
Joe

Hello Andre,
Do you have GreenHopper bundled with your JIRA? If yes then most probably you have hit following bug: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-3525. Unfortunately there is no solution yet.
The original problem was reported for Visual Studio Connector at https://studio.atlassian.com/browse/PLVS-294.
Cheers,
Jacek

I do have greenhopper installed. The issue you linked to seems not to be available, but since there's no solution for it, then I'll just wait and see what support says.
Best regards

Try remove the '.' from the link - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-3525 instead of https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/GHS-3525. :-) I'm also eagerly awaiting the fix!

Hi Jacek
Regarding the fix below (AO -> 0.15.3), is this supported by Atlassian? I'm keen to get this working again, but not keen to break our Jira site as a result!
Thanks
Joe
