IM presence indicator for JIRA

IS there an easy way to display IM presence indicator in JIRA for associated users (Reporter, Assignee etc).

Or Is there any available plug-in available?

Is there similar thing available for JIRA?

I didn't hear about such a plugin (and it sounds really cool btw), but you can always check at the marketplace. If there is no such thing already available, it might be a good idea to report that as a feature request on the Atlassian issue tracker perhaps?
