If I have Atlassian Access, does it mean my Jira users will be automatically deactivated?

Adrian Ang August 14, 2018

If I have Atlassian Access, does it mean my Jira users will be automatically deactivated when I deactivate the same user from my SSO provider?

Meaning, if I deactivate my user from my SSO provider, will that same user's license count in Jira be reduced automatically?

@Moses Thomas what happens if I deactivate the user from my SSO provider. Does it automatically deactivate the Jira license?

It should if you deactivate and remove  group  that  allows this user to  access  you Jira  instance!

Remove group from SSO provider or Jira?

@Adrian Angfrom Jira if  at all  this user   has.

Ok if removal is still needed from Jira admin panel then I believe the Access SSO integration only handles the login portion. The license count will still need to be handled on Jira Admin panel itself. That's what I realized on my panel but wanted to ask here to be sure.

Thanks Moses.
