Taking a screenshot using Snipping tool, Jira would not let me Save with the image in my ticket comment. After removing the image to save text, all screenshots from the entire ticket disappeared. These are images entered days ago in the ticket description as well as in previous comments.
Our team has also recently noticed screenshots missing from previously entered tickets when just viewing the item, not even trying to edit/enter new items.
Sorry that you experienced this - the incident was reported on the Jira Software Statuspage: https://jira-software.status.atlassian.com/incidents/yqpv3nqhsh6v
Looks like the images failing has been resolved but you can check the status page in case of future incidents.
Unsure if this is another bug or unrelated, but more often than not attaching screenshots to comments fails. There's nothing that will allow it to pass other than refreshing the page and trying again. This is tough when I'm in the middle of a large comment, which won't save due to screenshots failing to upload. Is there any way around this behavior?

I don't know if this is related to previous posts but...
I made a new issuse from android app with just a picture and headline. When I went to the computer for filling in the rest of the information I'm missing the picture.
And maybe worse is if the picture is taken in side the app it don't saves locally on the phone neither.
