Implementation of Dropbox Chooser Plugin

Simon Kiedyk January 9, 2013

Dropbox just released this new feature https://blog.dropbox.com/2012/11/meet-the-dropbox-chooser-a-new-way-to-add-stuff-from-dropbox/ and Asana had gone ahead and integrated it with thier project management and it works absolutely awesome.

I would very highly recommend and appreciate it if JIRA did the same kind of integration, it's excellent for any teams that work with a lot of files.

Hello Szymon -

Guess its not primetime yet - here's what I find at your link (attached/below).

Beware of miracle integrations - its not usually that simple, and when talking about your files, consider the risk.

If you want to chose/link (and edit with Office apps) your Dropbox files from JIRA - here's a plugin.

If you need an alternative no headache 24x7 hosting solution as painless as OnDemand, where you can also have any plugin, contact us - and we can help you out. info@appfusions.com

Best,

Ellen

Hi Szymon,

That's a good idea! I went ahead and created a feature request for you over at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-31224

You can check that out, add comments, vote, and add yourself as a watcher to keep up to date on the progress; you will just need to create an account on jira.atlassian.com if you haven't already.

Also, you can use that site to file future bugs or feature requests.

Best,

-dave
